In this video, Forest Ecologist Lorelle Sherman takes us on a tour of these diverse ecosystems focusing on how to prepare for an intertidal excursion, the identification of edible plants, safe, sustainable harvest methods and tips on cooking, preserving and enjoying a wild harvest! Viewers will take away information on key edible plants and berries and a greater sense of how the intertidal zone and the coastal forest are intrinsically connected environments.
